Dr. Hiren Dand

• Dr. Hiren Dand is the Principal of Bunts Sangha Mumbai’s Anna Leela College of Commerce and Economics.
• He was the Head of the Department of Information Technology at Mulund College of Commerce (Autonomous) for 25 years.
• He has worked with Computrain I.T. (India) Pvt. Ltd as Vice President, Technology
• He is research guide and twelve researchers have successfully completed Ph.D. under his guidance
• He has published 13 utility patents and 2 design patents
• He has over three decades of teaching, research and industrial experience
• He has obtained his B.E. in Electronics Engineering, Mumbai University, M.Tech in Information Technology and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering
• 12 researches have successfully completed Ph.D. under his guidance
• He has published research papers on various topics in national and international journals including UGC care and Scopus indexed journals
• He has authored several books like PL/SQL, R, Web Programming, OOPs, Internet Technologies and more
• He is the member of core committee for NEP implementation in colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai and has been resource person for NEP Sensitisation and NEP Implementation Workshops
• He has been the resource person for School Connect 1.0 and 2.0 programmes
• He is core member of Esamarth implementation committee in University of Mumbai and affiliated colleges
• He is the member of BoS and syllabus committee of B.Sc IT, M.Sc. IT, B.Sc. Data Science and M.Sc. Data Science, University of Mumbai
• He is the VC nominee as Subject Expert on BoS of many autonomous colleges
• He is the member of Academic Council at M. L. Dahanukar College, Vile Parle and S. M. Shetty College, Powai
• He has conducted workshops on different subjects and has been resource person at various workshops and conferences
• He has been awarded Lifetime Education Achievement award for his outstanding achievements and remarkable role in the field of Education.
