Design Thinking as we understand and how different roles in the organisation perceive it is different. It is a methodology to solve problems or a tool to analyze problems or it is a mindset to achieve desired results. It may be perceived differently at all the levels but the core is to understand the target user’s need and then proceed according to your role in the whole process of delivering a better product. Most of us think that Design Thinking is just limited to creating ‘User interfaces’ that are intuitive and highly usable. However, when it comes to implementation, Design thinking touches all the aspects and phases of software delivery, right from Business analysis to Development, Testing and Support. There is a need to pass on the Design Thinking concepts and techniques to the delivery teams such that they are used to deliver innovative, user-friendly and successful products with delivery efficiency in an agile world.
