Remote Agility and How to Make Remote Agile Work

Abstract:

One of the key tenets of agile philosophy is “individuals and interactions over processes and tools” and drives the agile principle – “the most efficient and effective method of conveying information to and within a development team is face-to-face conversation”.  This consequently means that co-location is an important consideration for agile to work. In a remote working model, there are, however, certain challenges for agility. This session will dwell upon remote agility and how to make remote agile work. It intends to provide some ideas on how the basic agile philosophy still holds good and how to adapt it for remote working and make things work.
