Nagaraja Gundappa

Nagaraja Gundappa is a Digital Transformation consultant with about 30 years of industry experience. He started his career with NAL in the application of AI techniques in fault-tolerant flight control systems. He has then worked with Tata Infotech and Wipro Technologies delivering large, complex projects to global customers including fortune 5 companies. After about 15 years of experience in software delivery, quality (CMMi and Six Sigma), and leading Centres of Excellence, he moved over to training focusing on various subjects of software delivery. While in Wipro Technologies, he was General Manager, Delivery Excellence, and lead an initiative in which over 1200 project managers were trained and achieved an impact of overrun reduction by 13%.

He has then come out of Wipro Technologies and has trained over 3500 people in the mid-management category and work in all six continents. His expertise includes both traditional management subjects such as PMP and Business Analysis and holds multiple certifications in Agile methods including Scrum, Disciplined Agile, Kanban, and SAFe. He consults with small and medium enterprises in setting up delivery excellence systems and achieving delivery transformation. He also works with Digital Platforms, Design Thinking, AI, and data science to provide Digital Transformation services.

One of his favorite topics is the comparison and contrast of various methods in achieving delivery excellence and he has published many papers, presented talks in various fora, and won a few global awards.
