Shrirang Karandikar got his B.E in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Pune, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University and PhD in Electrical Engineering (with minors in CS and Mathematics) from the University of Minnesota. He has worked at Intel Corp and IBM research in the area of VLSI Design Automation, at Computational Research Labs in High Performance Computing and at Shell in the area of Machine Learning.
He is passionate about teaching, and is constantly exploring different ways to help students grasp concepts at an intuitive level, while building a strong theoretical foundation.
