XSCALE in the Real World

Agile Network India is organizing a webinar on “XSCALE in the Real World” with Peter Merel (CEO at XSCALE Alliance).

Peter is Australia’s longest-serving agilist and played a part in the formation of the Agile Alliance. Credited in Beck’s first XP book, Peter created the first agile training games and ran them at the first agile conference, XP2K. He led transformations at GMAC and Websense in the US, and IAG, CBA and Ray White in Australia.

In 2015 Peter founded XSCALE Alliance as “the Linux of the Agile world”. Gartner recognised XSCALE in its 2016, 2017 and 2018 market guides for Enterprise Agile Frameworks, and XSCALE coaches in a dozen world capitals are collaborating on it as an open learning ecosystem engaging banks, insurers, health and telco corporations.

XSCALE is about de-scaling the complexity of large organizations and large projects to the simplicity of Agilism. The result is a high efficacy organization with increasing throughput capable of achieving exponential growth.

The webinar will be held on 14th November 2019 which starts at 03:30 PM and ends at 04:30 PM IST. Peter will share how to generate autonomy and alignment in traditional siloed command and control organizations? He will talk about the difference between scaling and descaling; simple descaling metrics and practices. He will also discuss Throughput accounting, open-book management, 3D-Kanban, Leadership-as-a-Service.
